There are a number of questions that clients often ask before, during and after massage.

Do I need to bring a towel?

No all linens are provided.

What should I wear?

Anything you feel comfortable in, as most of it has to be removed for me to access the area to be massaged. Please note that I do NOT do naked massage. It is essential both male and female clients wear knickers/pants/boxer shorts.

Why do I ache the next day?

This is quite normal, especially if you have received a deep massage. Usually the benefits are noticed 2 days after the massage if not straight away.

Why do I feel like I have flu after the massage?

This can happen to about 20% of clients receiving a massage and is nothing to be concerned over. It is due to all the toxins that have been released from your tight muscles, flowing through your lymphatic system. Drink plenty of water.

Why do I have a headache after the massage?

Around 1 in 5 clients may experience a headache after a massage. This is due to toxins being released from your tight muscles. Make sure you drink plenty of water after your massage. Rest and avoid any aspects of caffiene, e.g. tea, coffee, cola, chocolate, etc.

Do you massage children?

I massage children from the age of 13 - 16 with a parent present at all times, and 16 - 18 with parents’ permission - both male and female.

Do you massage naked clients?

No in all aspects.

You do hands free massage, will it hurt?

I can be as firm or as gentle as you require. The important aspect is that you MUST communicate your preference. I fully understand that we are different and some prefer deep tissue massage (and love it), whilst others find a lovely gentle massage much more relaxing.

How long have you been practicing massage?

I qualified in March 2009.

Do you leave the room to allow me to get undressed?

Of course. This is something I find very important. I value everyone's dignity and always leave the room whilst a client is changing. Also during massage sensitive areas are NEVER exposed.

I am quite often asked if I massage men - the answer is yes, but only evenings and weekends when my husband is in the building for safety purposes. There are no exceptions.

New: Beauty Facial

A facial is not just a facial, we can all cleanse, exfoliate and put a mask on, but when you receive a facial it is an hour long completely relaxing indulgence!

It is so relaxing for some of my clients that they fall asleep during the treatment.
